  • 7.3 Calibrations: ESCs

The Electronic Speed Controllers (ESCs) map commands from the flight controller to motor speeds. The following procedure allows resetting their behavior to factory calibration.

    1. Connect the FC to CleanFlight, then go to the motor page

    2. Disconnect the LiPo battery, the FC stays powered by the USB connection to the base station

    3. Push the master slider all the way to the top and keep it there

    4. Connect LiPo battery

    5. Wait until you hear 3 beeps

    6. Bring the master slide all the way to the bottom and keep it there

    7. Listen for the next set of ‘tunes’ and wait until they end

    8. Disconnect LiPo

    9. Make sure the master slider is at the bottom

    10. Connect the LiPo battery again and you should now be OK with all motors running at the same speed.
