Procedure at the track

• Two people must always be at the track in order to operate the go-kart. One of them must take
  the role of the safety officer. All people at Winterthur need to be instructed to enable them to
  undertake every role.

• The go-kart must not be in autonomous mode before it arrives on the test track.

• Nobody is permitted to be on the track during driving tests.

• The Safety officer takes care of:

  • That other people at Winterthur are informed about the tests. He/She also makes sure that
    warning signs are set up.

  • The first aid kit and the fire extinguishers are available.

  • Makes sure that externals stay away from danger (driving area, power tools, etc.)

• The Deputy safety officer takes care of:

  • The track and the go-kart are checked for visible damage and obstacles before each test.

  • Make sure the surveillance system is setup and working.

  • In charge of the E-STOP.

Fire 🧯

In case of any fire use the fire extinguishers marked with the green circle.

In case of Non Electrical fire use the one marked with a blue circle.
