Meeting with Mr Kessler
Personal data can have different levels of restrictions, for the sake of the conversation we can bucket those levels in three main categories:
- public (can be anywhere)
- confidential (can be on ETH-managed cloud services)
- strictly confidential, as in the kind of data that could lead to identify an individual ( can only be stored in on eth premises storage)
By following this, even onedrive/SharePoint should not be used for strictly confidential data but only the ETH NAS.
Confluence instances offered by ETH are on-premises, so those can be used to store strictly confidential data.
Microsoft Teams seems to be the recommended tool for communications. Maybe it is obvious to you but I realized that Teams is "definitely more" than just a communication platform. It is meant to be used as a general hub for collaboration by leveraging office365 and third-party apps.
It follows a slightly different approach to be used effectively when compared with Slack or Elements.
Mr. Kessler will clarify (in Jannuary 2024) if it is possible to:
have a channel calender which is not automaticly synced into your outlook calender
deactivate Teams chats
